I can’t wait for November 10th.  Sony is rereleasing God of War I and II on one Blu-Ray disc.  The games have been remastered in HD and include PSN trophy support, and on top of that, a demo for God of War III.  Even better, the price for this amazing package is only $40!!  So circle the date on your calendar in blood and clear your schedule for the rest of the month.  Even if you’ve played the games before, this is a great way to get reacquainted before God of War III hits on March 10th, 2010.  Pumped!!

I know, I know, the subject has been beaten like Mr. Ed (he’s a dead horse from the 50′s), but there is a website dedicated to one of the greatest moments in douchbagery of all time!!

I’m gonna keep this short and sweet so you can spend less time reading this and more time picking up a copy of Away We Go.  The movie stars John Krasinski (The Office) and Maya Rudolph (SNL) as a couple trying to find a place to call home.  It’s directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Road to Perdition).  The two leads in the movie do an amazing job of making you believe that they are completely in love while not coming off as cheesy or lame.  There are also several great supporting actors, and lots to keep you laughing and feeling good.

If you’re looking for a great movie to unwind to, Away We Go will not disappoint.  Don’t miss out on this one, I highly RECOMMEND it.

Meteor Blitz is a new game from the AppStore that has me smearing fingerprints all over my phone.  If you’ve played Super Stardust HD on the PS3, and you enjoy it, then this game is for you.  If you enjoy arcade style side-scrollers, but have never played a game of this type, then what are you waiting for?

Meteor Blitz uses two virtual analog sticks.  The left one controls your ship around the orbit of a planet, and the right one controls the direction in which you fire.  The upgrade system is slightly different from Stardust, but works beautifully.  There are 6 different planets to clear and 3 different weapons.  You also have bombs and speed boost in your arsenal.  The action is fast-paced and addictive.  My favorite feature has to be that as you’re racking up points, the game lets you know where you rank on the global leaderboards.  In real-time.  Right under your score.

I was living in Springfield, IL just a couple months ago.  So, when I heard that someone tried to blow up a building downtown with 1 ton of explosives, I wanted to know more.

A man named Michael Finton pulled up to a building in downtown Springfield in a van carrying around 1 ton of explosives.  Had he been white and crazy, people might have died.  Instead he showed up, rather Muslim-looking, and was caught.

When will this car-bomb fad disappear? Just ’cause your friend goes out and gets a giant Hello Kitty belt buckle, does not mean it’s cool.  If you think like that, you’re just going to end up looking stupid in public.  Think for yourself.  Don’t go out and do something that your initial instincts tell you is wrong because someone else tricks you into believing it’s okay.  You’re an idiot.

After Pearl Harbor, Japanese people picked up karaoke.  Yeah, it’s annoying, but it’s harmless.  I hate people as much as the next person, but blowing them up is wrong …and messy.

Can’t we all just go back to ignoring each other?

It’s finally here!  I’m pretty excited that MMS for iPhone is now available to the masses.  Maybe people can shut up about it for a little while (except for 1st generation iPhone users, who will complain until I find them all and smash their phones).

If you’ve visited any site since 2007 that even vaguely talks about technology, you’ve seen someone whining and crying because their phone can’t do MMS.  If this is one of the big problems in your life and you’re too dumb to figure out how to use e-mail to complete the same task, then you need to set down your phone and walk away.

Is MMS convenient? Yes.  Does it work on the iPhone? Yes, it does.  Very well, in fact.  Has it changed my life? No.

Truth is, I was fine with using the email solution.  I just had to tell those that wanted to send me multimedia messages to add my email address to my contact in their phone.  When they send an MMS, they just choose my email instead of my phone number.  Not a real big deal.  True, actual MMS, now that it’s available, is easier.  I am most excited though because now I don’t have to read complaints from  middle-aged men and women who act like a sixteen year old that just got their TV taken away.

Most iPhone users will never use MMS more than they did on September 25th, 2009.  Maybe we should make September 25th a national MMS Day.  I’ll be sending out pictures of posts before iPhone MMS to all of my friends, and they’ll glance at my message, then delete it.  Like 99.82% of all MMS messages ever received.  EVER.

Of course, when July rolls around again, these people will come out of the woodwork demanding a discount on a new iPhone even though they haven’t fulfilled their contract with AT&T.  That you can bet on.

Below are a few funny iPhone MMS complaints I’ve come across recently.  I won’t post who said them, but if you recognize something you’ve typed, spend the next 10 minutes hating yourself.

“Anybody else feeling the need to firebomb their local AT&T store?”

“Late Summer!?! WTF?!? Did they just figure out that 3.0 was hitting next week? Wow, how about that “F U” to us from ATT. Just awful.”

“There is no difference, AT&T is just full of shit.  My 5 year old Samsung could send and recieve MMS messages! On ATT!!”

“That makes no sense, AT&T is up to something, it would take me about ten seconds togo into settings and enable mms.”

“I just sent a MMS to my wife from my Bold. Seemed to work just fine. I can TXT too. IM is up and running. I don’t pay extra for any of it. I have a crappy old RAZR phone that sends MMS. So the latest and greatest iphone can’t yet?? You have to be kidding.”

“ATT is so much bullshit why cant i ******* mms on my muther ******* phone this is what all the hype is about and you still cand muther ******* use it BULLSHIT **** you ATT **** YOU!”

“I can’t believe how AT&T keeps getting away with s!!t like this. For being the most advanced smartphone out there, it doesn’t even have the simple capability of MMS?!?!?! WTF!!!! There’s MMS on a $50 **** phone! I love this phone but damn the carrier!”

“I think we should all call and complain, threaten to cancel service if this isnt resolved soon!! DAMN ATT s_cks donkey balls!”

“HERE IS WHAT WE NEED TO DO!!!

We need to make a website like, http://www.WeWantMMSnow.com or something like that, and all the page will be will be like a 100MB picture. We will have to somehow set it up that all iPhone owners visit this site on June 21 or something at noon EST. That way it will bogg down the AT&T servers so badly. We would need a way to get the word out very quickly.”

Ok, that’s enough.  Seems kind of silly now, doesn’t it?  BTW, those were all comments from one page.  I didn’t even make it half-way down the scrollbar.  People were concocting terrorist-type acts towards AT&T because they couldn’t send a picture of their dog in a sweater to someone who probably doesn’t want it to begin with.

This world is so overpopulated.

Last night I watched the new Final Destination movie.  It had everything you’d expect; people brutally murdered in a slightly humorous, over-the-top way.  If you’ve ever played Mortal Kombat, you’ll remember when the fatalities started to get ridiculous.  That’s where this version of Final Destination is.  It’s not necessarily a bad thing.  The best part, it’s in 3-D.

If you haven’t been to a 3-D movie in awhile, you’re really missing out.  This isn’t the old red-and-cyan-paper-glasses-that-gives-you-a-headache technology.  The glasses are clear and the images really come out of the screen.  The attention to detail is really impressive.  I mean, they nailed it.  If you have any interest in seeing this movie, see it in the theater.  Don’t read the reviews, don’t listen to the negative comments.  If you’ve enjoyed the previous Final Destination movies, you will not be disappointed.

3-D movies are making a comeback and if they’re as entertaining as FD 3-D was,  then I’m all for it.  You will not get the same experience watching this movie on DVD or Blu-Ray.  Hollywood is starting to figure out how to get me to spend money at the theater again, and we both win.

Yeah, the ticket might cost between $10 and $15, but there were plenty of moments that made it worth my Washingtons.

“Hi, can you freeze my upper lip in place, yet also make it look like I’ve been punched in the mouth?” That must be what the first person asked that started this whole Botox thing. Then someone else saw them and said “Hmm… that looks really weird, I want it.”

I have yet to see one person get Botox injections that doesn’t look like a puppet from the Genesis video “Land of Confusion”. Maybe that’s where it all started. Maybe someone saw that video and said “That’s how people are meant to look.” Since actors and actresses are doing it, other people think it’s okay. Well, it’s not. You look ridiculous.

So if anyone has accidentally stumbled onto this page, and is reading this post, and is thinking about getting Botox, don’t. Age gracefully. I don’t think I’m alone in the opinion that Botox is a surgery fad that makes people look hideous. If you had true friends, they would try to stop you from pumping your face full of something described as “fatty poison”. Fatty? and Poison? Really? Folks, these two negatives do not make a positive. They make a positively stupid looking face. In fact, if you see someone who has had Botox injections (and you’ll know, it’s obvious), smack them right in their puffy, science- experiment-gone-wrong head. Hard. It will make you (and me) feel better, and they won’t feel a thing.

Botulinum toxin is for people who are so insecure about aging or the way they look that they would rather draw more attention to themselves by looking like puppets from the below video by Genesis. If this post applies to you, then you are truly confused. Enjoy.

I have exciting news for all of you cookie fanatics! As I was reaching for yet another in the long line of fake cookies I’ve ingested lately, something truly inspiring caught my eye.

Right there, on the package of Chips Ahoy!, a message that I’d been waiting for. That’s right, Chips Ahoy! are real chocolate chip cookies again!! Nabisco decided to say “screw the recession” and take things back to their roots.

They’re keeping it Real, again!!

Now it’s up to us. We must support them by buying what may be the “realest cookies left on the market”. So if you like cookies, but LOVE Real cookies, drop what you’re doing and pick up a couple bags!! Share them with family, friends, hell, buy a bunch for the office and put ‘em in the breakroom!

This is America, we deserve Real cookies, and Nabisco is representin’ for the kids in all of us… and also for actual kids!!!!!!!

Drinking Water is the perfect beverage. When I am thirsty, I like to use Drinking Water to make me unthirsty. Overall it’s pretty effective. Sometimes, when it’s hot outside, and you’re outside, you can even pour Drinking Water over your head to cool down.

I prefer cold Drinking Water, but if I were lost in a dessert, I think I would be less picky. I might even drink warm Drinking Water.

These are some of the reasons why I RECOMMEND Drinking Water. If you haven’t tried it, you’re really missing out.
